Therapy Students & New Grads
Are you currently attending college to become a therapist? Have you recently graduated from a therapy school? We would like to invite you to volunteer with us. We will train you to become a side walker where you have the opportunity to interact during mounted and non-mounted therapy sessions. You will be invited to attend our regular training sessions for therapists and learn from seasoned therapists in a variety of fields. You will of course be required to clean up the barn premises with the rest of our volunteers as well.
A working ranch involves things breaking. Our therapeutic nature means we are always looking for something to be built or modified. Handy with tools? This may be your opportunity to give back. Our construction crew helps build and maintain vital equipment on our property. Let us know your passion and we can find a way to use your support!
Are you a church group, school group or community group (boy scouts, girl scouts, etc.) looking to give back to the community? We can use your help! Let us know how your skills can best be utilized as a group and we will have a project waiting for you.
Don't have experience with horses or special needs kids?
That's okay! We will work with you to help you find the volunteer opportunity that is right for you! We love and appreciate our volunteers for whatever skills they bring to the Barn!
